About Us
Working mainly with DuPont but also Agfa and Fuji, Hallmark Equipment Service has been supplying and servicing printers and ink since 1985.
With the advent of direct to plate technology much of our work in the repro / pre-press sector was becoming obsolete. Fortunately four years ago we had the opportunity to work with DuPont on the Cromaprint wide format UV combination printer, but the project was halted after just two years, however the experience opened up new areas of business for us. This lead to us purchasing our own Flora F2200 UV printer direct from the manufacturer and we started developing our own upgrades for the Cromaprint customers existing machines, which were not available on the market at the time.
Due to these innovations we achieved such a high level of success and customer satisfaction that in January 2010 we negotiated the transfer of the Cromaprint business in Europe from DuPont to ourselves.
With new partners on board such as Nazdar ink, SAi software rip solutions and Rimslow textile machinery we are now looking forward to expanding our services to cover a greater number of wide format printer models and other associated equipment.
So far we have converted and started supporting Raster printers and Agfa Anapurna M and we are hopping to add many more to our portfolio as we progress.
We are always looking for new opportunities for engineering partnerships and have just taken on the service and support for Rimslow textile machinery, we are currently looking for a replacement printer to offer our Cromaprint customers along with a complete solution for textile printing.
Having to reinvent ourselves over the last two years has been a difficult, but rewarding task especially given the recent trading conditions. However we now look forward to building on the all the hard work and continue to help our customers as well as bring new and exciting products onto the market.
We believe that to be in business as long as us you need to give extra value added service and quality products and we intend to continue doing this for many years to come.
